The Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton will provide mobile consular services in the city of Saskatoon from January 14 to 16, 2026.
This was announced by the diplomatic mission, noting that the decision was made in response to numerous requests from citizens and in order to facilitate access to consular services for vulnerable categories of Ukrainians.
Location
The reception will take place at the Ukrainian Canadian Congress center in Saskatoon at the following address:
- 2-604 22nd St West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 1Y8
What services will be provided
During the mobile service, the following will be provided:
- issuance of foreign passports;
- issuance of already manufactured foreign passports with the status “arrived at the institution”;
- acceptance of documents for the issuance of certificates of registration of a child as a citizen of Ukraine.
Working hours (local time)
- Passport issuance for citizens from vulnerable categories (only by confirmed appointment with a specified time):
- 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Acceptance of documents for issuing passports to children up to 11 years of age:
- **11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Issuance of ready passports:
- **4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Who will be served
The consulate emphasizes that only Ukrainian citizens residing in the province of Saskatchewan will be served.
Priority of applicants
Due to high demand, a list of applicants has already been formed based on priority. It includes citizens from vulnerable categories whose foreign passports expire in 2026 and who do not have a second valid passport document.
This applies, in particular, to:
- large families;
- persons with I and II group disabilities;
- families of military personnel;
- people aged 65 and over.
Passports for children under 11
Applications are also currently being processed for foreign passports for children up to and including 11 years of age, whose documents expire before December 2026.
To submit such applications or to receive a passport that has already been issued, you must fill out a special online form.
Requirement for men aged 18–60
It is separately noted that men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad must submit a pre-printed electronic military registration document, generated or updated 1–2 days before submitting the documents, in order to receive consular services.
Confirmation of appointment time
After processing the applications, applicants will receive a notification by email indicating:
- appointment time;
- list of required documents.
The consulate asks applicants to provide current contact details to ensure feedback.
