Опис події
Immerse yourself in a world of mysterious characters, Ukrainian traditions, and a festive atmosphere at the annual Masquerade, organized by the Olga Basarab Ukrainian Women’s Organization (UWO Edmonton).
The Masquerade is more than just a party. It’s an opportunity—if only for one evening—to transform into a new character, let your imagination run wild, set aside your everyday worries, and spend time in wonderful company.
Masks also hold a special place in Ukrainian culture. They are an integral part of Malanka traditions, Christmas rituals, folk performances, and festive celebrations. That’s why the organizers invite guests to contribute to the festive atmosphere and choose their own unique look.
Guests can look forward to
- a festive atmosphere;
- atmospheric music;
- delicious appetizers;
- a raffle with prizes;
- the chance to connect with the Ukrainian community;
- a contest for the most striking masks and costumes.
