Online / Remote

Опис події

On July 2–3, 2026, the Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton will provide additional consular services to citizens regarding the issuance of foreign passports.

This service is primarily intended for people who have a critical need to obtain a new passport but are unable to schedule an appointment through the general online queue within the next six months.

Services will be provided exclusively by appointment and only after receiving official confirmation from the Consulate General.

Who Can Register

The following categories of Ukrainian citizens may apply for an additional appointment:

  • individuals who have only one foreign passport, the validity of which has been extended by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton;
  • children born within the consular district and registered as Ukrainian citizens by birth;
  • individuals whose sole foreign passport expires in 2026 and has not previously been extended.

This additional appointment is intended for applicants who fall into one of the specified categories, have an urgent need to obtain a passport, and are unable to secure a spot in the general online queue in the near future.

How to Register

To participate in the additional consular appointment, you must fill out a special registration form:

Registration will be available:

  • Start: June 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.;
  • Closes: June 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

Filling out the form does not guarantee an appointment. After registration closes, consulate staff will review the applications received and determine which applicants meet the established criteria.

When will applicants be notified of their appointment?

Applicants whose submissions meet the specified conditions are expected to be notified on Friday, June 26, 2026.

In the notification, the Consulate General will specify the exact date and time when applicants must arrive to submit documents for a foreign passport.

There is no need to come to the consulate without prior confirmation of your appointment. Additional services will be provided only to those who have received the relevant notification.

What documents do you need to prepare

Before visiting the consulate, applicants are advised to check in advance the list of documents required to apply for a foreign passport.

Up-to-date information is available on the official website of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton under the “Passport Issues” section:

The list of documents may depend on the applicant’s age, passport status, the child’s place of birth, and other circumstances. Therefore, it is important to check the requirements specific to your category and prepare all necessary originals, copies, and supporting documents by the appointment date.

Requirements for Men Aged 18 to 60

The document must be:

  • generated or updated in the “Reserve+” app no earlier than 72 hours before the consular appointment;
  • printed;
  • brought with you to the Consulate General.

Without a current, printed electronic military registration document, the consular office may refuse to accept your passport application.

Due to the limited number of slots, priority will be given to applicants who fully meet the established criteria.
