Second Wind Charity Run / Walk

Опис події

The Second Wind Charity Run / Walk is a charity run and walk in Edmonton to support the rehabilitation and recovery of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel through the Second Wind initiative.

This year, Edmonton will be one of 10 cities joining the run simultaneously in solidarity with Ukraine. The goal of the event is to remind the world about the war in Ukraine, support Ukrainian defenders, and raise funds for their physical and psychological recovery.

Everyone is invited to participate—regardless of age or fitness level. You can run, walk, or simply join the community gathering for this important cause. The main focus of this event is not speed or athletic performance, but presence, support, and solidarity.

Participants will gather near the John Walter Museum, next to Walterdale Bridge. The run and walk will take place in a friendly atmosphere, where every step will symbolize support for Ukrainian soldiers who need rehabilitation after injuries, service, and the experiences of war.

The registration fee is $15. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to support the Second Wind initiative.
