Canada has officially welcomed the first Hell's Kitchen restaurant by world-renowned British chef Gordon Ramsay. The restaurant opened its doors on September 14, 2026 at the River Cree Resort & Casino in the Enoch Cree Nation, near Edmonton. It is the first Hell's Kitchen restaurant in Canada and one of only a few in the world.

The restaurant is inspired by the popular TV show Hell's Kitchen. The interior recreates the atmosphere of the TV show: two open kitchens—red and blue—the signature decor, and a menu featuring Gordon Ramsay’s most famous dishes.

Among them are the legendary Beef Wellington, Sticky Toffee Pudding, lobster risotto, as well as dishes made with local ingredients and specially developed for the Canadian restaurant, including baked beans, Three Sisters salad, moose ragout, and braised bison ribs. The use of premium Alberta beef and local ingredients is central to the new restaurant’s concept.

According to Gordon Ramsay, he is delighted to open his first Canadian restaurant in Enoch. The chef noted that guests can expect a combination of famous signature dishes, signature cocktails, and the very same atmosphere that made Hell’s Kitchen popular around the world. Management at River Cree Resort & Casino also calls the opening a historic event for both the resort and Canada.

The restaurant’s opening is significant not only for food lovers. The new establishment is expected to become an additional tourist attraction for Edmonton and all of Alberta, drawing guests from various regions of Canada. For the Enoch Cree Nation community, the project means new jobs, the development of tourism infrastructure, and an increase in visitor traffic to the hotel and entertainment complex.

At the same time, due to high demand, it won’t be easy to get a table at the restaurant right after it opens. Reservations are made through the official website of River Cree Resort & Casino, and the first available slots are snapped up quickly. The restaurant is open daily from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., so visitors are advised to plan their visit in advance.

The opening of Hell’s Kitchen is further proof that Alberta is increasingly making its mark on North America’s culinary map. For fans of Gordon Ramsay’s work, this is an opportunity to try his famous dishes without traveling to Las Vegas or other cities where the brand’s restaurants are located, and for Edmonton, it’s a chance to attract tourists and fine-dining enthusiasts from across the country.
