We invite you to “Taste of Ukraine”—a warm and unforgettable culinary evening celebrating Ukrainian cuisine, traditions, and hospitality. The event will take place on Friday, April 24, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Cask & Barrel in Edmonton, Alberta.

About the Event

This special evening is organized by The Cask & Barrel and DON'YA Ukraine Kitchen to offer guests an authentic introduction to the flavors of Ukraine. The program features a traditional menu prepared with care and respect for Ukraine’s culinary heritage.

Evening Menu

Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner. The meal begins with borscht, followed by the main course: vareniki, holubtsi, three slices of sausage, and a choice of salad or a ball of sauerkraut. The evening will conclude with dessert—nalysnyky.

About DON'YA Ukraine Kitchen

The history of DON'YA Ukraine Kitchen creates a unique atmosphere for the event. This kitchen was born out of community, courage, and a love for Ukrainian food. Today, over 25 aspiring chefs hand-make every varenyky, stuffed cabbage roll, and pot of borscht from scratch, sharing the authentic flavors of Ukraine and helping to preserve Ukrainian culture here in Alberta.
