From September 18 to 20, 2026, the Edmonton Expo Center will host the Edmonton Expo—a large-scale three-day event for fans of movies, TV shows, comics, anime, video games, science fiction, and cosplay.

Over the course of a single weekend, the festival will bring together famous actors, voice actors, comic book creators, artists, cosplayers, collectors’ item vendors, and thousands of fans with diverse interests.

Guests will have the chance to meet stars from their favorite movies and TV shows, attend themed panels, get autographs, have professional photos taken, see spectacular costumes, and purchase exclusive merchandise.

Meet-and-Greets with Famous Actors

Meet-and-greets with film and television actors are traditionally one of the highlights of the Edmonton Expo.

In 2026, announced guests include actors from the popular series The Boys:

  • Karl Urban;
  • Erin Moriarty;
  • Tomer Kapon;
  • Colby Miniff;
  • Cameron Crovet.

Fans will be able to see the actors in person, attend meet-and-greets and themed panels, and purchase tickets for autograph sessions or professional photo shoots.

Ron Perlman, known for the Hellboy films and the TV series Sons of Anarchy, will also be attending the Edmonton Expo.

Other confirmed guests include Brendan Wayne, who worked on the character of the Mandalorian in the Star Wars universe.

The list of participants continues to be updated, so new actors and special guests may be announced closer to the festival.

Meet the Stars of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

A separate event will be a meet-and-greet with cast members from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Among the announced guests are:

  • Judith Hoag;
  • Brian Tochi;
  • Ernie Reyes Jr.;
  • François Chau.

For fans of the franchise, this will be an opportunity to meet the people who worked on one of the most famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, ask questions, get an autograph, and take a commemorative photo.

Autographs and Photos

Special areas for autograph sessions and professional photos with guests will be set up at the Edmonton Expo.

Visitors can bring their own poster, comic book, figurine, or other item to get it signed by their favorite actor. Photos will also be available for purchase directly at the event.

Professional photo sessions will be held according to a separate schedule. Some of these activities may require an additional fee, which is not included in the regular admission ticket.

Due to the popularity of certain guests, it’s best to book photo and autograph sessions in advance.

Themed Panels and Fan Meet-and-Greets

Themed panels will take place in the conference rooms over the course of three days.

At these panels, guests will be able to hear stories from the set, learn more about the creation of famous characters, and ask questions of actors, writers, and other industry professionals.

In addition to meet-and-greets with famous guests, the program may include:

  • discussions of movies and TV series;
  • fan gatherings for specific franchises;
  • comic book presentations;
  • anime discussions;
  • workshops;
  • gaming activities;
  • contests;
  • special screenings.

The organizers will publish a detailed schedule closer to the festival.

Cosplay

Cosplay will be one of the highlights of Edmonton Expo.

Visitors will be able to come dressed as characters from movies, TV shows, comics, anime, video games, and fantasy universes.

At the festival, you’ll be able to see the work of professional cosplayers, take photos, chat with other fans, and participate in themed activities.

You don’t need to have a complex or professional costume. Edmonton Expo is open to both experienced cosplayers and people who are trying to transform into their favorite character for the first time.

Comics and Meet-and-Greets with Creators

Edmonton Expo will feature a separate program for comic book fans.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet artists, authors, illustrators, and other industry professionals.

In the comics area, you’ll be able to:

  • purchase new and rare editions;
  • discover independent creative projects;
  • commission a personalized drawing;
  • get an author’s autograph;
  • chat with artists;
  • learn more about the comic book creation process.

A separate part of the exhibition will be Artist Alley—a space where independent artists showcase their own artwork, prints, stickers, accessories, and other merchandise.

Anime and Voice Actors

Anime fans will also find dedicated themed activities at the festival.

The program will feature meet-and-greets with voice actors, panels, photo zones, fan gatherings, and booths selling merchandise based on popular anime series.

Among the announced highlights are meet-and-greets with the voice actors of My Hero Academia and other animated projects.

Fans will be able to discuss their favorite series, meet like-minded people, and purchase themed souvenirs.

The following may be featured at the festival:

  • gaming booths;
