Опис події
From August 1 to 3, 2026, Edmonton will host the Edmonton Heritage Festival—a large-scale, three-day celebration of cultural diversity that will bring together communities from around the world.
The festival will be held at William Hawrelak Park. Over the course of three days, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the traditions of different peoples, sample national dishes, watch music and dance performances, visit cultural pavilions, and discover folk art.
The Edmonton Heritage Festival was created as a space for a firsthand experience of the world’s cultures. Each pavilion represents a specific country or community through cuisine, traditional clothing, music, dance, crafts, informational materials, and interaction with participants.
The Ukrainian Pavilion at the Festival
Ukraine will be represented at the Edmonton Heritage Festival by the Ukrainian Heritage Pavilion.
Guests at the Ukrainian pavilion will have the opportunity to learn more about Ukrainian culture, traditions, and the modern life of the Ukrainian community in Canada. Visitors can look forward to Ukrainian cuisine, art, folk crafts, embroidery, themed exhibits, and a cultural program.
The Ukrainian Pavilion will be a place to spend time with family and friends, chat with community representatives, and introduce Ukrainian culture to those who are just beginning to discover it.
For Ukrainians in Edmonton and visitors to the city, this will also be an opportunity to support the community, meet acquaintances, and experience the atmosphere of a grand celebration together.
