Опис події
Ukrainian Day 2026 in Edmonton is a major annual celebration of Ukrainian culture, traditions, and heritage, taking place on August 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, located approximately 25 minutes east of Edmonton at 195041 Highway 16 East, Lamont County, Alberta. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village in partnership with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Alberta Provincial Council.
Guests can look forward to a vibrant day celebrating Ukrainian culture and community: traditional music, singing, dance performances, cultural presentations, and family activities in the atmosphere of a historic village. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with family and friends, experience the strength of Ukrainian heritage in Alberta, and join in the celebration with the community.
The celebration will hold special significance, as 2026 also marks the 135th anniversary of Ukrainian immigration to Canada. That is why the event will be not only a cultural festival but also a symbolic day honoring the history, contributions, and presence of Ukrainians in Canada. Meanwhile, organizers note that a more detailed program will be published closer to the event date.
